VB Background:

My volleyball career began at Lewiston High School where I played for 4 years on Varsity. I  played college for Bellevue University where we finished 5th at Nationals in 2002. After graduation, I became an asst coach at BU for 2 years. I have been coaching club for 14 years. Over the time I have been coaching club, I have taken several teams to Jr. Nationals, with one team finishing 9th. I have coached 13′s, 15′s, 16′s, and 17′s through River City Jrs. Currently, I am the Assistant Director of TVA, and have been giving lessons, working camps, and clinics since 2006.

Teaching Philosophy:

I believe in teaching a strong foundation of fundamentals and correct body movements to maximize the efficiency of the athlete. It’s important to build on the basics as well as continue to improve the fundamentals while providing a fun learning environment.
